Saving Grace hosted their annual Heroes Luncheon on March 7 at Tetherow's Event Pavilion. The event is designed to increase awareness for the comprehensive services Saving Grace provides in Central Oregon to promote the value of living life free from intimate partner violence and sexual assault. The 9th annual Rubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show, held January 25 at Midtown Ballroom, featured creative designs by transforming trash into runway fashion. Inaugural Flannel and Frost Fundraiser

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend hosted their Inaugural Flannel & Frost Fundraiser November 30 in the Club's gymnasium which they transformed into a snow-inspired wonderland. The evening included live and silent auction, family-style dinner, drinks and a celebration of all things winter.  The evening raised more than $73,000 to support local youth. NeighborImpact Empty Bowls Fundraiser

NeighborImpact held their 17th Empty Bowls Fundraiser on October 28 at the COCC Campus Center. Empty Bowls is an internationally-recognized event that raises awareness of hunger-related issues. Locally, funds raised from the event support NeighborImpact’s Emergency Food Assistance program that feeds approximately 25,000 people monthly and distributes more than three million pounds of food each year. Big Brothers Big Sisters Hosts Comedy for Kids’ Sake

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon (BBBSCO) held their 21st annual Comedy For Kids’ Sake on October 26 at the Tower Theatre. The event featured Portland comedians Todd Armstrong and Tyler Boeh along with live and silent auctions,  and raised more than $80,000 that allows BBBSCO to match 80 kids with mentors in 2019. Gift of Music Fundraiser

The Cascade School of Music held their annual Gift of Music Fundraiser April 28 at Awbrey Glen Restaurant. The event included a silent auction of 22 painted violins by local artists. The Deschutes River Conservancy (DRC) held their RiverFeast Dinner and Auction on May 12 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Oregon. Family Access Network Fundraiser
