The 2nd Annual Giving In Style charitable event took place October 4 at The Pavilion at Tetherow and raised $55,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend. Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend hosted their Inaugural Flannel & Frost Fundraiser November 30 in the Club's gymnasium which they transformed into a snow-inspired wonderland. NeighborImpact held their 17th Empty Bowls Fundraiser on October 28 at the COCC Campus Center. Empty Bowls is an internationally-recognized event that raises awareness of hunger-related issues. Locally, funds raised from the event support NeighborImpact’s Emergency Food Assistance program that feeds approximately 25,000 people monthly and distributes more than three million pounds of food each year.
