Family Access Network Hosts Successful Fundraiser

Family Access Network (FAN) hosted their 12th Annual Luncheon Fundraiser April 13 at Pilot Butte Middle School and raised more than $110,000 for disadvantaged children and families in Central Oregon.  The total came from individual donations, sponsors and a donor match from a member of the community. “I’d like to reiterate just how thankful we are to have such a strong community of supporters,” says Julie N. Lyche, FAN executive director. FAN serves nearly 9,000 children and their family members each year in Deschutes and Crook Counties. FAN advocates placed in public schools connect children and families to essential services such as food, shelter, heating, healthcare, clothing and more with a goal to keep children healthy and in school.
