January 2017 Lifestyle Letter 1

New Year, New You

With the New Year upon us, chilly winter nights have arrived here in Bend. For me, that’s mostly about staying snug and warm in the evenings! But, the stories in this issue have challenged me to venture out into the cold and try new experiences after dark. Although I love the outdoors on a sunny winter day, I admit I’ve never taken advantage of snowshoeing or skiing when the temperature plunges at night. New Year’s resolution: do it!

Stepping out of our comfort zone is always difficult. In this month’s feature on overcoming obstacles, read how bungee jumping off a bridge changed one woman’s life. Her courage is sure to inspire you to conquer your own fears.

And if one of your goals this year is to make your home more organized, check out the beautiful design ideas in this issue.

This magazine would not be possible without the support of our advertisers. When you visit these local businesses, please tell them you saw their ad here, in the pages of Bend Lifestyle.

All of us on the Bend Lifestyle team wish you and your loved ones a safe and joyful New Year!
